This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and Luno for your use of the Luno mobile application. By creating an account, signing in, or using the app, you agree to this EULA and our Privacy Policy.
1. Acceptance
If you do not agree to this EULA, do not download, install, or use Luno. If you are using the app on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. License grant
Subject to your compliance with this EULA, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Luno on devices you own or control for your personal, non-commercial use. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
3. Restrictions
You may not: copy, modify, or distribute the app except as permitted by law; reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code; use the app for unlawful purposes; interfere with servers or networks; scrape or harvest data from other users; impersonate others; or use automated means to access the app without permission.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Luno. If you are under 18, you should use the app with permission from a parent or guardian. Luno is not directed at children under 13.
5. Accounts
You may sign in with Google, email, or another supported provider. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account. Your mood entries, notes, and preferences are stored on your device and associated with your account. You may sign out or delete your account from the side menu.
6. App features
Luno provides mood logging, insights, streaks, Calm tools (breathing, meditation, focus), and optional community feed posting. All features are available at no cost. Features may change over time. Personal posts under Profile → My Posts are separate from the Calm community feed.
7. User content & community
Content you post in the community (text, images, mood, display name, avatar) may be visible to other users. You retain ownership of your content but grant Luno a license to display it within the app for community features. We may remove content or restrict access for violations.
8. Not medical advice
Luno is for personal reflection and self-tracking only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not rely on the app in an emergency. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we handle and your choices. By using Luno, you consent to the practices described there.
10. Intellectual property
Luno, its design, logos, and content (except user content) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. This EULA does not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
Luno is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luno and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Luno from claims arising out of your use of the app, your content, or your violation of this EULA or applicable law.
14. Termination
You may stop using Luno at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate this EULA. Sections that by nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
15. Changes
We may update this EULA as the app evolves. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated EULA. Material changes may be communicated in the app where appropriate.
